Territory
The Municipality of Camogli extends from sea level up to the 610 metres of Mount Portofino, offering a landscape that harmoniously combines coast and hills.
The morphology of the territory provides evocative scenery: high cliffs overlooking the sea, paths winding through Mediterranean vegetation and alleys connecting hamlets and villages. This environmental variety, typical of the Riviera of the Golfo Paradiso, makes Camogli a special place to explore on foot, among nature, breathtaking views and the charm of its historic creûze.

SEA RESCUE
For sea rescue, a Prestige600 hydro-ambulance is available — a double-hull inflatable boat with a bow that can be lowered into the water, equipped with full medical equipment equivalent to that of a standard ambulance.

Temperature and Climate
The climate in Camogli is typically Mediterranean, with hot, dry summers and mild, rainy winters.
The hottest month is August. In recent years, the average temperature during this period has been around 21°C, reaching highs of about 33°C. January records an average temperature of 6.2°C, the lowest of the year.
The bathing season in Camogli lasts from May to October. During this period, the water temperature in Camogli does not fall below 20°C, making swimming comfortable, especially in June and from mid-September onwards. The average water temperature in Camogli throughout the year is around 18.9°C, rising in summer to an average of 24.4°C, with peaks in August.
There are numerous shaded woodland areas, which can provide shelter on the hottest days, especially along the route towards San Rocco, both starting from the town center and along Via Molfino when setting out from Ruta.
From here, several trails branch out along the green expanse of Mount Portofino. Drinking fountains and benches are available at several points in the town, such as Piazza Schiaffino, Via Jacopo Ruffini, Piazza Gaggini in Ruta, near the Fitness area on the road to San Rocco, and in Via Mortola.
