The sea
The sea is the great protagonist of the place, to be experienced in all its splendor, as pure relaxation, comfortably on the beach or, for the more adventurous, by boat trips, canoeing or diving.
For lovers of comfort, Camogli beach, located on Via Garibaldi, is a gravel beach and offers all kinds of services: beach resorts, the rental of water sports equipment, the possibility to book excursions.
In addition to the beach resorts, it is also possible to access equipped free beaches, where the renting of deckchairs and sun beds is active.
Along the promenade by the sea and the marina, you will be spoiled for choice of characteristic places, all with picturesque views of the typical colors of the village, where you can sip pleasant aperitifs or enjoy a delicious dinner based on fish or other Ligurian specialties.
Blue Flags
The Blue Flag is the European Union’s recognition of the best beaches and tourist destinations that have been attentive to the environment.
Camogli boasts the prestigious recognition conferred after careful evaluations and checks, in particular on the cleanliness of the sea, respect for the environment and the services offered.
Lilac Flag
The Lilac Flag project, born in 2012, aims at increasing and improving the reception of tourists with visual, hearing, motor disabilities and eating disorders, rewarding and supporting the Municipalities that pay particular attention to these targets
Camogli is one of these municipalities, it obtained the Lilac flag thanks to the demolition of architectural barriers such as the construction of pedestrian walkways, public lifts, toilets for the disabled, equipped beaches and the agreement with the State Railways to equip the train station with two lifts.
